Disconnect minus cable from battery. Remove rear seat. Remove rear seat backrest. To do this, unscrew bolt (1) at left and right-hand side.
Place mounting plate for rear loudspeaker upside down on the middle of the parcel shelf and mark holes to be drilled. Holes 1 ÷ 4 have dia. of 5 mm (0.19685"). Hole 5 has dia. of 8 mm (0.31496"). Note when fitting: A = 142 mm (5.5905").
Fasten base plate with nuts 1 ÷ 4 and press rear loudspeaker cable through hole (5).
Connect rear loudspeaker and fasten to base plate.
Lead cable from rear loudspeaker along loom to the front.
Load cable from rear loudspeaker to the middle of the steering column.
Unscrew bolts 1 ÷ 4 and remove instrument panel cover (middle section) at bottom.
Remove central plug (1) from hazard warning flasher switch and central plug (2) from rear fog warning light switch. Pull cable off switch for heated rear window (3). Note when fitting: brown cable plug 31 black/red cable plug S green/blue cable plug +
Remove loudspeaker grille.
Unscrew bolts 1 ÷ 4 and take out loudspeaker. Pull off loudspeaker cables and lay towards balance knob.Connnect cable provided in assembly kit to loudspeaker. Connect plugs with colours to match and also to lay towards balance knob.
Connect cables to balance knob. Connect brown cable from car radio, brown cable from loudspeaker and brown cable from rear loudspeaker to the three combined sockets (1).
Connect brown/red cable from the car radio to central contact "X" (2). Connect the brown/red cables from the loudspeaker and rear loudspeaker to the terminals still left free.
Drill a hole with 10 mm (0.3937") dia. in the lower central section of the instrument panel cover and fit on balance knob. A = 190 mm (7.4803").
