Disconnect negative lead from battery.
Detach instrument carrier panelling and loudspeaker grille.
Cut out panelling along the metal frame.

Install loudspeaker and loudspeaker grille.
Connect cable with loudspeaker and lay it to shalf bottom.
Attach panneling for instrument carrier.

Remove shelf bottom. Insert cable brown and violet into shelf. Refit shelf bottom.
Open fuse box and push-fit the tied-back (violet) cable to terminal fuse 10. Shut fuse box.

Pre-assemble the receiver. Tighten screws (1) lightly.
Fit the escutcheons with nuts (2) and with the aid of the attached socket wrench (3). Fit knobs.
If a motor-driven aerial is used, begin with the attachment of the control line at the back of the radio set (4).

Check polarity of radio set at the contact slide.
The negative sign (-) must be visible when viewed from top.

Connect cable with loudspeaker and mount loudspeaker with screws (1 ÷ 4). Lay loudspeaker cable to the shelf bottom. Fit

Pre-assemble the items 7 ÷ 15, 17 and 20 ÷ 21 at the radio. Tighten hex. screws item 10 b only lightly.
The countersunk screws item 18 are to be used for mounting the radio to the shelf.

Connect pre-assembled receiver.
1 = aerial cable
2 = negative cable (B-)
3 = loudspeaker cable
4 = positive cable (B + violet)

Feel out side walls of shelf and perforate plastic foil at the provided holes.
Stick on felt strip (4) at the underside of the fresh air grille.
Mount receiver to the shelf. Retighten the srews (1) still loose from pre-assembling.

Install suppressor at the regulator or install shielded regulator (white stripe).

Connect suppressor condensor to alternator B+ and secure.

Connect suppressor condenser with ignition coil terminal 15 and secure.

Install ground strap between front wall and cylinder head cover.

Secure ground strap to front wall and to front lid hinge.
