A) Removing and installing
Remove all front grilles (51 13 070).
Detach the auxiliary blower.

Disconnect cable from relay.
Remove auxiliary blower with cable harness.

Replacing carbon brushes
Remove the auxiliary blower.
Take off the fan.

Note: Left hand thread.
Make relative positions of bearing endplate and motor
body.
Loosen screws.

Pull off armature and pole shoe housing.

Unsolder the brushes.
When installing: The new brushes must move easily in
their guides.
Insulate the soldered joints with lacquer.
