Remove lower center right instrument panel housing
(51 45 200).
Detach the air hose to the right demister outlet.
Before adjusting the cable, check length of connecting rod
and adjust if necessary. A = 120 mm (4.72 in.).

Loosen clamp screw (B) and adjust cable so that the distance
between the control lever and the stop on the switch
plate is approx. 3 mm (0.12 in.).

Open glovebox.
Detach glovebox pivot joint and swing the glovebox down.
Remove the demister air hose.
Check length of connecting rod and adjust if necessary.
A = 120 mm (4.72 in.).
Loosen clamp screw (B) and adjust cable so that the distance
between the control lever and the stop on the switch
plate is approx. 3 mm (0.12 in.).
