Correct length of connecting rod
A 120 mm (4.72 in.)

Remove lower center right instrument panel housing
(51 45 200).
Pull off the air hose end angle for the fresh air outlet.
Loosem clamp screw (A) and adjust cable so that the distance
between the control lever and the stop on the switch
plate is approx. 3 mm (0.12 in.).

Open glovebox.
Loosen clamp screw (A) and adjust cable so that the distance
between the control lever and the stop on the switch
plate is approx. 3 mm (0.12 in.).
