Unscrew the cover plate for the heater unit¹).
Unscrew the drive crank.
When installing: Set to correct limit position.
Unscrew the wiper motor and tilt down to remove.
Pull the multi-pin plug away from the plug board
and remove complete with rubber grommet.

Check condition of wiper motor:
Unscrew motor from bracket.
Loosen motor crank and pull motor to front, but do not
detach multi-pin plug.
Using a test lamp or voltmeter at terminal 53 (black-yellow
and green cables) or 53 b (black-white and red cables),
check if power is reaching the wiper motor.
If the cables are live, the wiper motor itself must be
defective. If the cables are dead, the fault must be traced
in the electrical system.
