A) 3 HP-20
Loosen the multi-pin plug.
Unscrew the retaining plate.
Pull the cable away from the retaining clips.

Disconnect the linkage.
Loosen the screw (1).

Loosen screw (2).
Pull off reversing light cable.
When installing: After loosening screw (1) and (2), adjust
position of transmission switch until the correct light is
illuminated on the scale in the instrument housing when the selector lever is
fully engaged.
Warning: Supply lines to transmission switch are electrically
live. Transmission switch is on positive (+) side of
circuit.

B) Borg-Warner
Disconnect multi-pin plug.

Detach cable clamps from transmission.
Slacken nut (1).
Pull off selector lever (2).

Remove screw (3).
Pull out cable from retaining clips.
Withdraw transmission switch.
Fitting instruction: Set transmission switch to position 0
(snap-in may be felt).
Turn manual control valve shaft clockwisely to the stop
and then turn 2 notches counter-clockwisely (position 0).
Insert and secure transmission switch in this position.
With the transmission installed go through all gears.
Appropriate switch position must be illuminated on the
instrument panel.
