Disconnect earth cable from battery.
Remove coolant reservoir (do not disconnect coolant hoses).
Pull plug (A), plug (B), socket (C), plug (D) and socket (E)
off plug board.

Plug (A) houses:
Cable (1) brown/red to wiper motor 31 b
Cable (2) brown to wiper motor 31
Cable (3) black to wiper motor 53 a
Cable (4) yellow/black to wiper motor 53
Cable (5) black/white to wiper motor 53 b

Plug (B) houses:
Cable (6) brown/yellow from horn relay 85
Cable (7) white from headlight high beam relay 85
and plug "k" to minor instrument cluster No.3
Cable (8) yellow/white to low beam headlight, right 65b
Cable (9) green from fusebox input 6
and to diagnostic plug 2

Socket (C) houses:
Cable (10) red from battery +

Socket (D) houses:
Cable (11) black to starter 50

Plug (E) houses:
Cable (12) blue/black to turn indicator, front right
Cable (13) blue/red from turn indicator, front left
Cable (14) brown/blue from brake fluid sensor
Cable (15) green/black to screenwasher pump +
Cable (16) yellow/white to low beam headlight, left 56b
Cable (17) brown/white from horn relay 86
Cable (18) green/white from horn relay 86
to plug "k" on minor instrument cluster No. 1
and to automatic choke butterfly, rear

Remove cover-dashboard bottom middle left, cf. 51 45 190.
Take off fusebox (do not disconnect electric cables).
Pull plug (F), socket (G), plug (H), socket (J) off plug board.

Pull socket (K), plug (L), plug (M) and plug (N) off plug board.
Remove plug board from splashboard.

Plug (F) houses:
Cable (19) green/black to changeover relay 87
Cable (20) brown to load-shedding relay 85
Cable (21) brown/red to changeover relay 87a
Cable (22) grey/blue to light switch 58 b
Cable (23) black/yellow to wiper speed switch 53 a
Cable (24) black/white to wiper speed switch 53 b

Socket (G) houses:
Cable (25) grey/blue to illumination

Plug (H) houses:
Cable (26) brown/yellow to horn push ring
Cable (27) white to low beam switch 56 a
Cable (28) yellow/white to low beam switch 56
Cable (29) green to low beam switch 15

Socket (J) houses:
Cable (30) red to ignition/starter switch 30

Socket (K) houses:
Cable (31) black to ignition/starter switch 50

Plug (L) houses:
Cable (32) blue/black to hazard warning flasher R
and rear light, right turn indicator
Cable (33) blue/red to hazard warning flasher L
and rear light, left turn indicator
Cable (34) brown/blue from handbrake contact
and plug "1" on minor instrument cluster No. 8
Cable (35) green/black plug board to plug board
Cable (36) yellow/white to rear fog light switch
Cable (37) brown/black to delay relay 31 b
Cable (38) green/white to brake light switch
and from fusebox output 7
