a) Disconnect loom from engine support:
Remove control unit cf. 13 61 000.
Pull plug off pump really and disconnect cable 62 from
plug.
Remove plastic cover from multiple plug.

To keep dirt away and to facilitate removal and fitting,
wrap insulation tape or something similar round multiple
plug and loom. Pull out loom up to front seat. Fasten wire
to multiple plug.

Remove air filter cf. 13 71 000.
Lift cover from engine support.
Pull out loom.
Remove wire from multiple plug.
Note when fitting: Fasten wire to multiple plug.

b) Disconnect loom from engine:
Note: When pulling off plugs, do not pull at cables.
Disconnect cable 41 from pre-resistor.
Remove cable clamp from cylinder head cover.
Pull cable plug off breaker insert unit.

Disconnect cable plug (1) from injection valves, air temperature
sensor (2), throttle butterfly switch (3) and starter
valve (4). Disconnect earth cable (1) from air collector support
and remove protective tube (6) from cylinder head
cover.

Remove cable support from intake manifold.
Pull cable plug off pressure sensor.

Pull cable off main relay (7) and cold starter relay (8).

Pull cable plug off water temperature sensor and temperature
retard switch, and disconnect cable 39 from
starter.
Disconnect plug connection of cable 50.
Disconnect cable 30 from starter.
