Detach the negative lead from the battery. Remove the steering wheel (32 33 000).
Remove the lower left center instrument panel trim (51 45 190).
Remove the left glove box complete with hinge strap.
Loosen the front lid control pivot mounting.
Remove the lower center right instrument panel trim (51 45 200).
Remove the instrument panel (62 21 000).
Remove the fuse box and the main light switch.
Remove the wiper switch.
Remove the fitted carpet for the luggage compartment, the rear panel trim and the two luggage compartment floor trims.
Remove both license plate lights, detach both rear light cluster cover plates, remove the rear left wheel arch edge protection
and partly loosen the left wheel arch trim in the luggage compartment. Remove the rear seat and seat back. Remove both
door operated courtesy light switches, partly loosen the left fitted carpet.
Disconnect the cable harness at all connections points and remove.
Detach the cables to the handbrake light contact, reversing light switch and interior light from the main cable run, install
plug-in terminals and re-connect.
When installing: Check function of electrical system.
Detach negative cable from battery and remove steering wheel (32 33 000).
Remove lower center left instrument panel trim (51 45 190).
Remove left glove box complete with hinge strap.
Loosen front lid control pivot mounting and remove main light switch, glove box light and right glove box complete with
hinge strap.
Remove stowage compartment (51 16 200).
Partly loosen both door sill rails.
Remove both front wheel box trims, both door switches for courtesy lights and both rear seats.
Detach rocker switches for electric side window lifts from both armrests and disconnect cables.
Remove both armrests, rear side panel trim and insulating board.
Remove (install) fitted carpet for luggage compartment floor, both luggage compartment floor trims, luggage compartment
light and luggage compartment front bulkhead trim, detach lens for rear fog warning light, both license plate lights and
housings for both rear light clusters.
Remove rear wheel arch edge protection, rear panel support and stop bracket.
Partly loosen left inner luggage compartment wheel box trim.
Partly loosen fitted carpets, carpets on door sills, carpet on transmission tunnel and "Acella" sheet on both wheel boxes at
front.
Detach combined instrument and speedometer from instrument panel.
Disconnect cables harness at all connection points and remove.
Separate the cables for the heated rear window and interior roof light at the main harness, install plug-in connectors and re-connect.
When installing: Check function of electrical system.
