Remove door trim panel (51 41 000).
Take off plastic sheet.
With the window closed, detach the window lift mechanism from the door.

Hold the glass firmly at the top.
Detach the lift arm from the lift rail.
When installing: The lift rail must run between the two plastic
washers (1).
Apply a branded multi-purpose grease to the geared segment of the lift mechanism.
