Remove the windshield (51 31 000).
Inspect the rubber surround before re-using, and replace if necessary.
If the windshield was broken, remove fragments of glass from the demister
jets and the interior of the car. Insert the new windshield into the body cutout
with a number of packing pieces.
The gap between the glass and the body cutout must be approx. A = 11 mm
(0.43 in.) all round.
