Remove inner door trim panel (51 42 000).
Remove remote lock operating mechanism.

Detach the connecting rod at the door lock.

Unscrew the front support bracket for the window frame and swing inwards.

Take off the guide buffer.
When installing: Insert the spacing roller into the guide buffer.

Remove the screws holding the lock.
Remove the lock complete with remote operating mechanism in the closed
position.
When installing: The child-proof lock mechanism lever (1) should
be in the upper (open) position.
