Remove inside door trim panel (51 41 000).
Drive out the rivet.
Press the door stay as far as the second notch position.
Remove the screw.
Take out the door stay complete towards the inside.

When installing: Install the door stay while on the second notch.

When installing: Adjust height of door stay so that the retaining
strap is not tilted in the bracket on the door pillar.
Move the door to the second notch position.
Attach the door stay.
