Remove housing for left side of instrument panel - do not disconnect cables.
Remove screws (1) and (2).

Remove housing for instrument panel at right.
Remove screws (3) and (4).

If a radio is installed, remove it from the stowage compartment.
Lift out the floor of the stowage compartment.
Detach the stowage compartment.

Pull off the rubber gaiter.
Select 2. or 4. gear.
Pull out stowage compartment to the rear.

Open the zip fastener.
Select 1st gear.
Press out the tumbler switches for the electric window lift mechanisms from below.

Remove the screws.

Pull the console upwards.
Lift out the stowage compartment floor.

Remove screws from transmission tunnel and stowage compartment.

Remove pivot pin from glove box and swing down.
Pull cables away from contact switch.

Remove lower center left housing panel, but do not disconnect cables.
Select 2nd or 4th gear.
Pull away the stowage compartment.
