Lift the car and support under the trailing arms.
On the side to be balanced a rubber pad 30 mm (1.2 in.)
thick and of 42 Shore hardness must be inserted between
the trailing arm and the jack or stand.
Check rear wheel for vertical and lateral runout (36 10 209).
Attach the sensor to the trailing arm.
Accelerate the rear wheel under engine power, not with
the wheel drive unit of the balancing equipment,
to 110 kph
(68 mph).
Balance the wheel in accordance with the instructions supplied
by the maker of the balancing equipment.

For dynamic balancing, disconnect the half shaft flange
from the rear wheel.
Remove the rubber pad between the trailing arm and the
stand. Drive the rear wheel in this case with the balancing
equipment.
Balance the wheel in accordance with the instructions of
the balancing equipment maker.
