Take off dashboard cover at bottom middle left,
cf. 51 45 190.
Disconnect release spring on brake pedal.

Take off bolt lock.
Take out bolt.
Note when assembling: Apply Longterm 2 grease on bolt.

Disconnect hazard warning flasher relay and place at
side.

Loosen lock nut on bearing bolt.
Pull out bearing bolt.
Press brake pedal down diagonally and remove.
Note when assembling: Note correct tightening torque¹).

Note when assembling: Check bearing bush for wear,
replace if necessary and apply Longterm 2 grease.
Check basic measurement (A)¹) and adjust piston bar if
necessary. Adjusting stop light sensor cf. 34 31 111.
