Remove handbrake lever cf. 34 41 000.
By using two sharpened wooden sticks with a dia. of 6 mm
(0.236"), make sure that the brake fluid in the equalising
reservoir cannot escape.

Support car body.
Remove wheel cf. 36 10 350.
Pull handbrake cable out of protective tube.
Disconnect brake hoses.
Note when fitting: Bleed brakes.
Remove output drive shaft.
Remove spring strut shock absorber form semi-trailing arm.
Note when fitting: Tighten bolt with car under normal load
position¹).
Remove semi-trailing arm from rear axle support.
Note when fitting: Tighten bolts with car under normal
load position¹).
