Remove lower sectin of housing (32 31 020).
Remove control lever light.
Unscrew the grub screw (1).
Pull out the ignition/starter switch.

Loosen the shear bolts (4 and 5) for the steering lock plate with a center
punch or chisel and unscrew.
Unscrew shear bolte (1 to 3) only if the steering lock cannot be pulled out of the
steering column despite being turned slightly in both directions.

Take off the steering lock plate.
Push in and turn the steering column until a milled groove is directly under the
steering lock.
Turn the steering column backwards and forwards while pulling out the steering
lock, which should be in the "Fahrt" (Drive) position.
