Take off steering wheel, cf. 32 33 000.
Remove cover - lower section, cf. 32 31 020.
Take off cover.
Pull cable off rear fog light switch and swivel cover to right.
Note when assembling:
+yellow/white
S grey/violet
31 brown
Pull off return cam (1) and collar ring (2).
Note when assembling: See replacement of return cam 32 31 131.
Take out spring ring (3).
Note when assembling: Recess in collar ring (2) fits over spring ring.

Take off disc (4), presure spring (5) and ring (6).
Note when assembling: The shaft of the ring must face towards the
steering wheel shaft bearing.

Screw out bolt (7).
Remove cover - top section - from bearing block of accelerator pedal.
Pull steering wheel shaft out of universal joint.

Force steering wheel shaft out of cover - top section - by means of
lower steering wheel shaft bearing.
Note when assembling: Press spring ring - with collar ring fitted
in opposite direction - into the groove in the steering wheel shaft. See replacement
of steering wheel shaft (upper section) 32 31 151, Fig.4.
