Warning: The straightening forces of the steering will be reduced
when installing a steering damper. Therefore, we do not recommend installation
in cars with hydraulic steering.
Lift off floor carper, filler and sound insulation.
Provide fixing hole according to fastening bracket pin (2) in RH engine member.
Distance to existing hole (1) amounts to (A) = 229 mm (9.016").

Drill holes for clamp.
Distance (B) from existing bead to centre of hole = 80 mm (3.150")
Install reinforcement plate with clamp. Seal the bore holes.
Mount bearing bracket. Torque loading 2,2 + 0,3 mkp (16 + 2 lb./ft.).

Fit clamping piece to tie rod in a way that there is enough space (a) between
clamping piese and dust cup.
Warning: Insert shim (3) between clamping piece and steering damper.
Steering damper mounting bolt must be in vertical position.
Torque loading for clamping piece 2,0 + 0,3 mkp (14.5 + 2.0 lb./ft.).

Mount steering damper to fastening bracket and check for free movement
by turning wheel from lock to lock.
