Remove transmission - see 24 00 020.
Use tool 6028-1 to carefully pull the torque converter out
of the primary pump.

Note when fitting: Check the torque converter for leaks
with fixture 6062/1 in conjunction with fixture 7034 and
0.5 atm (7 psi) air pressure.
Caution! Never weld a leaking converter. Replace it!

Guide both claws of the torque converter into the slots
of the primary pump by turning slightly.
The torque converter is positioned correctly if the drive
shell mountings are located below the converter housing
edge.
