Remove disc clutches - see 24 23 703.
Stop the front brake and from expanding with holder 7040.
Remove pressure piece (1) and brake band.
Caution! The lining could break if the brake band is al-
lowed to expand fully.
Note when fitting: Adjust brake bands - 24 24 004.

Note when fitting: Check the brake band drum for scoring
and damage from overheating.
Replace a brake band if the brake linings are damaged
or burnt, or if they are so worn that there is hardly room
for adjustments.

Remove the 3 centering plate mounting screws to take out
the rear brake band.
Note when fitting: Secure the centering plate with the
mounting screws in the cavities.

Remove the centering plate with set of planetary gears.
Caution! Thrust washer (2), needle bearing (3).

Loosen brake band adjusting screw.
Take out pressure piece (5) and brake band (6).
Note when fitting: Adjust brake bands - see 24 24 004.
