Caution! The brake bands of a new car or of a car with a
newly installed automatic transmission must be adjusted
after a distance of 1000 km (600 miles).
Non-conformance will lead to serious follow-up damage.
The brake band adjustments must be checked every 30,000
km (18,000 miles).
Loosen nut (1) by 1 turn (angled ring wrench).
Tighten the adjusting screw (2) with a torque of 0.7 mkp./
5 ft Ib (adjusting wrench 7035) and then loosen it again
by a ¾ turn.
Lock adjusting screw (2) with nut (1).
