Remove disc clutches - see 24 23 703.
Remove front brake band - see 24 24 050.
Remove the three centering plate mounting screws.
Note when fitting: Secure the centering plate with the
mounting screws in the cavities.

Loosen rear brake band adjusting screw.

Remove centering plate (1) with the set of planetary gears.
Remove centering plate.
Caution! Needle bearing (2), thrust washer (3).
Note when fitting: Adjust brake band - see 24 24 004.

Lift out circlip (4).
Check one-way clutch (5) and the one-way clutch locking
ring (6).
Replace the one-way clutch if there is heavy scoring or
flat marks on the locks.
Caution! The thrust washer (7) in the planetary gear carrier
faces toward the rear with its border.
Note when fitting: The needle bearings are good if the
planetary gears are easy to turn by hand.
