A) Outside throwout arm
Remove gearbox 23 00 020.
Remove and install clutch slave cylinder 21 52 010.
Lift out spring over spherical pin collar.
When installing: Make sure angular seal (1) is between
the spherical pin and the throwout arm.

Pull out throwout bearing and arm to the side.

Disconnect throwout bearing form retaining springs.
When installing: Coat retaining springs, angular seal and
spherical pin with Molykote Longterm 2.
Fill lubricate groove (N) with Molykote Longterm 2.
If this precaution is not taken, the throwout bearing will
seize.

B) Inside throwout arm
Remove and install clutch housing 21 11 000.
Detach spring retainer. Take off throwout arm and bear-
ing.

When installing: Pack lubricant groove (N) with Moly-
kote Longterm 2. Coat guides (F) in throwout arm and
bearing points (L) with Molykote Longterm 2.
Failure to observe these precautions will cause the
throwout bearing to seize.
