A) With outside throwout arm
Remove the gearbox 23 00 020.
Pull back sleeve (1).
Lift out circlip (2).
Pull the slave cylinder out forwards.
When installing: Note device to prevent rotation.

Loosen the clutch housing.
Remove the cover plate.
Take off the clutch housing.

B) With inside throwout arm
Take off the clutch slave cylinder.
When installing: Note correct installed position, with hose
union pointing downwards.
Detach the gearbox from the clutch housing at the flange,
and remove.

When installing: With the aid of the clutch slave cylinder,
move the throwout arm to its correct installed position.
Align the clutch thrust bearing.
Apply Longterm 2 grease to guide sleeve and groove in
throwout bearing.
Before installing the gearbox, engage a gear.
Insert the guide sleeve carefully into the thrust bearing.
Turn the output flange until the input shaft slides into the
driving plate.
Remove the clutch slave cylinder again.
Attach the gearbox firmly.
