To ensure that there is perfect warm air regulation it is essential
to have a batterfly that can move easily.
To check that butterfly has freedom of movement, disconnect
pressure rod and coat bearing points in fastening with

To adjust throttle butterfly (1) correctly, place the cold air manifold
and the work element in a water bath with a temperature of 15º C (59º F)
for approximately 5 minutes.
When this is done, the throttle butterfly shod just about have closed cold
air inlet (A). The throttle butterfly opening gap is corrected by adjusting
work element (2).
A = cold air inlet
B = warm air inlet from exhaust manifold

B) Work element in cold air stream
To adjust the throttle butterfly correctly, place the cold air
manifold and the work element (2) in a water bath with 15º C
(59º F) for approximately 5 minutes.
When this is done, the throttle butterfly (1) must just have
closed warm air inlet (B). To correct the throttle butterfly
opening gap, adjust work element (2) as desired.
