A) Version with pressure sensor
Disconnect plugs.
Caution! Do not pull on wires.
Remove temperature sensor (1). Be careful of seal.

B) Version with air flow sensor
The intake air temperature sensor is a permanent of the air
flow sensor and cannot be replaced separately.
If the temperature sensor is defective, replace the air flow sensor - see
13 62 000.

C) Version with heat sensitive bypass starter
The temperature sensor (thermo switch) must be closed at temperatures
below + 14º C (57º F).
This means with the ignition turned on that the test lamp must be on when
connected to both connections and ground.
Remove air cleaner housing.
Disconnect wires.
Remove fuses.
Remove thermo switch from inside.
