Mark the pole shoe to be sure of same position when
reassembling. Unscrew the four pole shoe screws; take pole
shoe and exciter winding out of pole housing.
Note when fitting: Make sure that the pole shoe is in
exact parallel allignment with the longitudinal axis before tightening
the pol screws. Place strips of insulation paper between the exciter
coil and pole housing.
