Remove vacuum box.
Remove contact breaker plate.
Use two screwdrivers to press cams up so far until the
circlip snaps out of the notch.
Caution! Do not pull out lubrication felt pad, since the
circlip located unterneath would spring out.

Drill out notched pin with a 3 mm (0.118") dia. drill.

Pull out distributor shaft with centrifugal weights and cams.
Note when fitting:
1 = Thrust washer
2 = Insulator
Check bearing bushes, replacing if necessary.

Detach springs (2); pull off lubrication felt pad (3), circlip
(4), washer (5) and cams.
Remove locks (6) and centrifugal weights (7).
Note when fitting: Coat cams with engine oil and centrifugal
weights with Bosch Grease Ft 1 v 22 before installing.
If holders or springs have been replaced, check and if applicable adjust the
centrifugal advance curve on a distributor test bench.
