Disconnect minus cable form battery.
Drain some coolant.
Note when fitting: Bleeding of coolant system cf. 17 00 039.
Remove air filter housing cf. 13 71 000.
Disconnect fuel hose and vacuum hose.
Disconnect thrust bar (1).
Remove bearing block.
Note when fitting: Shaft must have axial play.

Pull cable (2) off choke carburettor.
Remove cover (3).

Disconnect coolant hoses 4 ÷ 6.

Remove intake pipe from cylinder head.
Note when fitting: Pull off fastening flange on surface
finishing plate.
Adjust engine idling speed and fuel/air mixture cf. 13 00 004.
