Drain coolant.
Note when fitting: Bleeding of coolant system cf. 17 00 039.
Remove manifold between thermostat housing cover and radiator at bottom.

Remove manifold between thermostat housing and radiator at top.

Remove manifold between thermostat housing and water pump.

Remove manifold between thermostat housing and intake manifold.

For injection engine:
Remove manifold between thermostat housing and reflow pipe.

Remove hose between intake manifold at front and rear.

For injection engine:
Remove hose between auxiliary air slide housing and
reflow pipe.

For injection engine:
Remove hose (1) between throttle butterfly cover
and auxiliary air slide housing.

Remove manifold between intake manifold and equalizing
reservoir.

For injection engine:
Remove manifold between reflow pipe and equalizing
reservoir.

For injection engine:
Remove intake manifold from cylinder 6.
Note when fitting: Check sealings and replace if necessary.
Cut sealing for intake manifold from the top of the triple sealing.
Remove clamp from air collector.
Remove hose (1) between throttle butterfly cover and cylinder housing.

Remove hose for automatic starter between intake manifold
and starter housing at front.

Remove hose for automatic starter between cylinder housing and
starter housing at rear.

Remove connection hose for starter housing at front and rear.
