A) Friction coupling
Remove radiator - see 17 11 000.
Open lockplates.
Remove fan.
Caution! Only use M 6 x 25 mm screws to prevent interference
with the fan coupling.
Caution! 8-blade fan with a diameter of 420 mm (16.535")
for 3.0 USA and 3.3 L.

B) Viscous coupling
Remove radiator-see 17 11 000.
Loosen mounting screw 1.
Note when fitting: The tabs of disc 2 must engage in the
grooves of flange 3.
