Replacement engines marked on crankcase:

BMW	2,5 CS.	25
BMW	2800 CS	28
BMW	3,0 CS	30
BMW	3,0 CSi	30 E

Fit on water hoses and spacer bolts for air filter housing.

Fit on support angle (1), cover plate (2) and clutch casing (3).

Fit on right-hand support plate.

Fit on left-hand support plate with throttle linkage
assembly.

Only if high-pressure pumps is fitted:

Remove cooling fan.

Convert pulley for high-pressure pump.

Note: Correct position of driving disc (1) when
assembling.

Note when fitting: Check that piston (2) is
installed in heatsensitive element.

Swivel alternator upwards.

Fit on bearing block.
Fill engine with running-in oil¹)
